ANA to collapse in six months without US assistance: Ghani

WASHINGTON: President Ashraf Ghani has admitted that without the support of US troops, the Afghan government and the Afghan National Army (ANA) will collapse in six months.

Afghan President said this while giving interview to TV Channel which was broadcast earlier this week in Washington.

According to transcript released by media outlet, Ashraf Ghani admitted that if the US government pulls out their troops from Afghanistan than it is impossible for Afghan government and Army to survive and it will collapse in few days of time.

He added it is the US support which we able to provide salaries and other necessary requirement to Afghan Army and in case of stopping US support we are not that resourceful to accept the army expenses.
