KABUL (Khaama News): The Ministry of Defense says two terrorist incidents have been prevented in the Ali Khel area of PD19 Kabul city. In a published statement MoD said that the terrorists had placed two IEDs in the Ali Khel area of Kabul city to target civilians.

In another incident, unknown gunmen shot dead a National Directorate of Security member in Kabul.
Security sources told Khaama press, that on Tuesday morning, Mehdi Sirat, an NDS member was assassinated in PD13 of Kabul, suspects at large. No group or individual has yet claimed responsibility for both of the incidents. This comes as Targeted killings and IED bombings intensified in the capital and other provinces in Afghanistan in tandem with ongoing peace efforts.
