ANF recovers 124kg hashish from a car and van

PESHAWAR: Anti Narcotics Force Peshawar on Tuesday carried out  Intelligence Based Operations (IBO) near Pawaka Mosque Tango Adda and recovered more than 124 kilograms of hashish from a car and van.

According to details the Anti Narcotics Force Peshawar intercepted a corolla car bearing registration number LE-11-4467 near Pawaka Mosque Tango Adda Canal road Peshawar and recovered 90 packets weighing 108kg of hashish from the hidden cavities of the car.

The accused, Farhad Khan S/O Najeem Khan, resident of Pawaka village, Peshawar was also arrested on spot.

Following the tip-off provided by the accused during investigation, another cache of hashish weight 16.800kg were recovered from a van registration no. BHF 093 Sindh.

The accused revealed that he was smuggling the narcotics to Lahore.
