Angelina Jolie kindly stops to sign autographs for fans after filming with Marvel’s Eternals cast
HOLLYWOOD: Angelina Jolie clearly isn’t too proud to stop for her adoring fans as the Hollywood actress was seen signing autographs after a busy day of filming Marvel’s anticipated Eternals movie.
The Tomb Raider star was spotted arriving back at her hotel in Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands on Sunday evening, alongside her Eternals co-stars Gemma Chan, Barry Keoghan, Lia McHugh and Brian Tyree Henry. Before the cast could make their way inside, they made sure to sign autographs for the eager fans and Angelina seemed more than happy to oblige judging by the smile on her face. At one point, it looked as though Angelina even cracked jokes with the group proving she’s got all the time in the world for her supporters. Over the weekend, the Maleficent actress was seen taking some much-needed time out with a day on the beach and brought her 12-year-old co-star Lia to bond with her children. Angelina, 44, has been in Fuerteventura for a couple of weeks now getting to work on Marvel’s anticipated Eternals, which is based on the ancient story from the comic books about an immortal alien race who are trying to protect humanity from their evil counterparts, the Deviants. In a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel boss Kevin Feige admitted the movie was a ‘risk’ but for good reasons.
He explained: ‘It is a very big movie. It is a very expensive movie. And we are making it because we believe in [director Chloe Zhao’s] vision and we believe in what those characters can do and we believe we need to continue to grow and evolve and change and push our genre forward. ‘That’s a risk if I’ve ever heard one.’
