Animosities of Pseudo-Kings in education department

It is an undeniable fact that the Pseudo-Kings i.e. Clerks of the District Education Peshawar, rule the empire of Elementary and Secondary Education as they have established their stronghold in this department since, ANP government. The top contender in terms of unethical behavior, ill public dealings and human resource has been DEO (M) office Peshawar, which is eminent in the attitude of their Royal Kings i.e. Clerks and detailed staff, towards the teachers besides being lower in rank than the academia, who visit the education office for the solution of issue regarding salary release and receipt of arrear bills. The teachers are being shown squinting eyes and cold shoulder whenever, they unfortunately have to consult the cashier, unless they provide bribery or a secret weapon known as the “Bigger Stick”. The school teachers are more afraid to face clerks than the esteemed District Education Officer.

In addition to this, the clerks have strong affiliations with the political elites as they were purely appointed by them to conduct under the table shady deals in the government of ANP. Since, PTI came in power, the education sector reforms remained confined to curriculum development and recruitment of high caliber teachers, strictly on merit. This restoration of the lost merit has inspired the talented youth to opt for teaching profession and resulted in a marvelous improvement in the elementary and secondary education. But PTI governments neglected the administrative reforms in totality in the department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the favourite birds of ANP are still calling the shots to victimize the teachers. This insulting attitude among other factors has badly discouraged the NTS inducted teacher having the highest content knowledge and dedication towards their duty of instilling and inculcating contemporary knowledge in the mind of their students. The burning question is, for how long these clerks will be allowed to harass and have a field day on the teachers? For how long, they will be left as unbridled horses? It is high time that authorities at the helm of affairs take necessary actions and alter this department to its intended glory.
