ISLAMABAD: Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Saturday hinted that another cabinet reshuffle is on the cards after Eid.
The minister said that a ‘trailer’ for cabinet reshuffle will run. “One or two ministers will be changed in the trailer, if one goes with the rumours.”
Earlier in April, Prime Minister Imran Khan appointed Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh as Adviser on Finance, in a major cabinet reshuffle.
The cabinet reshuffle came at a time of growing pressure with the rupee losing 30 per cent of its value since the start of 2018, stirring sharp inflation.
The cabinet overhaul comes hours after Finance Minister Asad Umar stepped down from his post.
