KABUL (Khaama Press): The Afghan forces have arrested another prominent spy of the Taliban group during an operation which was conducted in the fifth district of Kabul city.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) said the Taliban spy identified as Rahmatullah was arrested by Special Forces of the Afghan National Police in Kote Sangi area of the city.
The statement further added that Rahmatullah was responsible for plotting terrorist attacks and transfer of Taliban group members in various parts of Kabul.
The Ministry of Interior on Monday announced that a prominent spy of Taliban identified as Qudratullah was arrested during a similar operation which was conducted in Company area in the fifth district of Kabul city on Sunday evening.
Qudratullah was collecting and sharing information regarding supply convoys which were travelling on Kabul-Maidan Wardak highway besides planning and coordinating terrorist attacks, the ministry of interior said.
The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the arrest of the group’s spies so far.
