ANP leader among 2 injured in Bajaur blast

KHAR: Senior leader of Awami National Party (ANP) and notable religious scholar MaulanaGul Dad Khan among two injured in a bomb blast in Nawagai town on Monday.

Officials has confirmed the incident, saying that MaulanaGul Dad Khan, ANP senior leader and prominent religious scholar among some companions were traveling in the area when his vehicle was hit by a bomb device, planted in the road. MaulanaGul Dad Khan and his companion Abdul Qayum were wounded in the incident who were immediately shifted to the district headquarters hospital, Khar for treatment,” they added. Soon after the blast, a team of officials of district administration and Levies forces reached the area to investigate the incident. A doctor at the hospital told that conditions of both the wounded were stated to be out of danger.
