F.P. Report
PESHAWAR: Awami National Party senator and former provincial minister Haji Hidayatullah on Monday said that the ANP will support the opposition if no-confidence movement was tabled against the Prime Minister in the parliament.
This he said while talking to a group of local journalists at his residence here in Munda. The senator said the prime minister could easily be ousted if the opposition parties united on a single agenda. He said that each political party wanted the government should complete its term but due to the inability, incompetence and failure of the government it could no longer be afforded.
About the nomination of the ANP candidates in Lower Dir, the senator said that all the tickets were awarded on merit through consensus. He said there had been no rift over the tickets’ issue in the district. He said the ANP district president MPA Haji Bahadar Khan was running an election campaign for Haji Inayatullah, the brother of Haji Hidayatullah who has been named as Tehsil chairman candidate in Munda Tehsil. The ANP leader said the ANP would announce its strategy once the opposition invited it for its proposed long march on Islamabad on March, 23.
