Anti-polio campaign to begin in KP, FATA on Monday

PESHAWAR: A three-day anti-polio campaign will begin in twelve districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) on Monday.

The districts include Peshawar, Charsadda, Mardan, Swabi, Swat, Kohat, Karak, Hangu, Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Tank and D.I.Khan.

About forty-seven lac children up to five years of age will be administered anti-polio drops during the campaign.

Tight security measures have been taken to ensure security of polio teams.
