Army allowing people from all school of thought to join its ranks: DG ISPR

ISLAMABAD: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major General Asif Ghafoor has said Pakistan Army has Christian, Hindu and Sikh personnel among its ranks and there is no restriction in the military to allow only people from a specific school of thought to join army.

This he said on Thursday while speaking to private news channel. DG ISPR said that when we wear Pak army uniform then we are only soldier of the country irrespective of our religion or clan, our first and last mission is to protect our land.

Ghafoor added several countries have given up their fight against terrorism and claimed that the terrorists have become aware that they cannot enter into Pakistan.
