MANSEHRA: Additional Deputy Commissioner Manshera Yasir Ali Khan on Friday chaired a meeting to review the security arrangements for the upcoming by-elections in PK-30 Balakot which is due on 26 February.
The meeting was informed that the security plane for by-elections has been finalized, police and army jointly perform duty at all polling stations. Section 144 has also been imposed and on flaunting of arms and aerial firing till by-elections to conduct the elections in free faire and transparent manners. ADC Manshera said that the measure was taken with a view to protect precious human lives and avoid any untoward situation during the elections campaign and elections. While giving the polling stations detail ADC Manshera 186 polling stations in PK-30 Balakot bye-elections where 133 polling stations were declared normal and 53 sensitive. Yasir Ali Khan said that Police and Army would continuously stage patrolling separately to avoid any untoward situation during the electoral process in PK-30.
