Arrest of Faryal Talpur is an example of political revenge: Bilawal Bhutto

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Friday while reacting strongly to the arrest of his aunt Faryal Talpur declared it another example of political revenge.

Addressing a press conference in Islamabad on Friday, he said that those who make cases against females are coward and asked the masses of difference between former president Pervez Musharraf’s tenure and today’s Pakistan.

The PPP chairman said that current puppet government is no match for them as PPP have fought against the likes of Pervez Musharraf, Zia-ul-Haq and Ayub Khan. This is just the government of cowards, he added.

Bilawal expressed that even government knows that they do not have majority here. They are just trying to hide their economic failure by making political arrests, he continued. The reason for these arrests is to distract the masses from ‘economic terrorism’. “They also arrested Asif Ali Zardari for the same reason,” he added.

PPP chairman asserted that government is trying to massacre the masses economically and extracting political revenge against their opponents. “Government is using various tactics to pressurize the National Accountability Bureau (NAB),” he continued.

Bilawal Bhutto said that this country has been governed by such cowards who do not even respect the women. Bilawal told the government that even they also have mothers, sisters and daughters in their family and their governance is not going to last forever.

PPP chairman said that they could have demolished Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government but chose not to because they believe in the prevalance of democracy in Pakistan.
