Arts exhibition highlights Afghan people’s lives

KABUL (Tolo News): An art exhibition was opened in Kabul Saturday, portraying the Afghan people’s lives and the problems they face in society. The organizer of the event and an artist, Reja Jamal, said the artworks were created over the last ten years.

“It is a full display of people’s thoughts, challenges, and hardships,” Reja said. Students from the art institute, where the exhibition was held, said the event will help them to improve their skill in painting. “It requires focus to get the concept of these artworks… They talk about the country’s nature,” said Zohra Alokozay, a student. “We want to be encouraged by visiting this exhibition,” said Fariba Musawi, a student at the institute. At least 40 artworks, most of them watercolor paintings, are on display in the exhibition.
