Asad says he will play role for ‘Charter of Economy’

ISLAMABAD: National Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser on Wednesday said that he would play his role to bring government and opposition closer for reaching at Charter of Economy (CoE).

The speaker said this while responding to Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif’s offer for the CoE with government in greater national interest.

The CoE, he said, could be discussed and he would play role to bring government and opposition closer for sighing of CoE,” he added.

Shehbaz Sharif during his budget speech said that during his earlier address in the parliament he had extended offer for sighing of CoE, but the government had not responded positively to his proposal.
