ASF arrest two smugglers at Lahore airport, recovered drugs, foreign currency

LAHORE: The Airport Security Force (ASF) arrested a smuggler Alama Iqbal Airport Lahore, who were trying to smuggle foreign currency out of the country

ASF officials told local media channel that they recovered Rs2 million in foreign currencies from a passenger who was travelling to China on a Pakistan International Airlines flight.

The arrested passenger was identified as Shahid Alam and ASF arrested him and further investigations are underway.

Similarly, ASF recovered 1.5 kilogram heroin from a passenger identified as Latif resident of Narowal Punjan and he was trying to smuggle heroin from Lahore to Karachi.

He was also taken into custody and started investigation.
