ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif has left for Tehran on one day official visit to hold talks with senior Iranian officials to discuss the matters of mutual interest in the region and international and develop a consensus over it.
Khawaja Asif will meet Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif during his one-day visit to Tehran and will discuss the new announced policy of US for the region.
Khawaja Asif delayed his meeting last week with US officials in Washington and Pakistan government decided to develop a consensus over among the regional countries and then talk to US officials. The recent Iran visit is also part of it.
