Askari Bank declared PCI-DSS compliant by GRC360, UK

KARACHI: Askari Bank Limited has been declared PCI-DSS compliant by GRC360, UK, an international audit firm operating in Pakistan and several international markets since 2011 under license from the Payment Card Industry-Security Standards Council, USA.
Payment Card Industry-Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS) is a standard created jointly by the six global card schemes: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Japan Credit Bureau and China Union Pay. Its purpose is to enhance payment account data security by driving effective implementation. Askari Bank’s compliance applies to processing and storage of debit card transactions.
