At least 11 fatalities and injuries in traffic accidents

HELMAND (Khaama Press): At least 2 people have died and 9 people have been injured in a spate of traffic incidents that occurred in the southern Afghan province of Helmand this week, according to the Taliban-controlled media.
According to a report, a string of traffic accidents occurred this week in the center of Helmand province and its other districts, resulting in injuries and fatalities.
At least 10 traffic mishaps were recorded from Lashkargah, the provincial capital of Helmand, and other districts, according to the media, and as a result, 2 people died and at least 9 others were wounded.
Two of the wounded are in grave health condition, according to Bakhtar’s report, which cited medical sources in the province of Helmand. Car-to-car and car-to-motorcycle crashes are reported to be the nature of these incidents, and the recklessness of the drivers is considered to be the cause.
Damaged driving routes and careless driving are reported to be the major contributors to traffic accidents, which are responsible for a significant share of traffic-related fatalities in Afghanistan.
