ATC declares PTI leaders as proclaimed offenders in PML-N office attack case

LAHORE: An anti-terrorism court on Friday declared four senior PTI leaders as proclaimed offenders for skipping court appearance in connection with PML-N office attack case on May 9, 2023.

ATC judge Muhammad Naveed Iqbal declared PTI leaders Murad Saeed, Azam Khan Swati, Wasiq Qayyum Abbasi and Muhammad Zubair Khan as proclaimed offenders on police’s request.

Police investigation officer told the court that despite the publication of their advertisements in the newspapers, the accused failed to turn up. Police said the accused went under hidings intentionally.

Police requested the court that four accused should be declared proclaimed offenders. On this ATC declared the four accused as proclaimed offenders. Police had nominated the accused in riot case in Model Town police station.
