ATC discharges Farrukh Habib from Judicial Complex vandalism case

ISLAMABAD: PTI leader Farrukh Habib and former federal minister appeared before an anti-terrorism court in Islamabad on Tuesday in connection with Judicial Complex vandalism case which was heard by Judge Abual Hasnat Zulqarnain.

The investigation officer told the ATC judge that “We do not want the arrest of Farrukh Habib” in the case while PTI leader Farrukh Habib withdrew his application for pre-arrest bail.

The court discharged Farrukh Habib, who had recently switched from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), from the case.

In light of the statement from the investigating officer, the court absolved Farrukh Habib of any involvement in the case.
