KARACHI: An anti-terrorist court (ATC) on Tuesday granted physical remand of ASI Shehzad Pervaiz accused of working for Indian Intelligence Agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) to police till April 30.
Karachi Police produced the ASI, who had been arrested for his allegedly working for the India’s spy agency, before the court and sought his 14-day judicial remand.
The court asked the police to present report regarding the progress on the investigation.
According to police officials, the accused was being offered a huge sum of money from Mehmood Siddiqui group, and the suspect was allegedly involved in terrorist activities.
Earlier according to the police, two hand grenades were also recovered from the police officer.
