Atmar, Crown Prince discuss support of IMA

KABUL: Afghan National Security Advisor Muhammad Hanif Atmar and Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud discussed the importance of the support of Islamic Military Alliance (IMA) with Afghanistan for the war on terror.

The meeting between Muhammad Hanif Atmar and Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was held. Muhammad Hanif Atmar paid visit to Saudi Arabia on the formal invitation of Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Showing support for the Afghan peace process, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia said comprehensive support of all sides was necessary for the success of peace.

According to a press release issued by the National Security Council, both the leaders discussed joint war against terrorism. The crown prince of Saudi Arabia said his country was keen to support the Afghan government in the war on terror.

Both the sides agreed to continue war against foreign terrorists and elements which took steps against peace and negotiations.

Atmar and the crown prince of Saudi Arabia discussed the support of Islamic Military Alliance with Afghanistan. The Afghan government was determined to eliminate terrorism, Atmar said.

Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud assured the full support of Islamic Military Alliance with Afghanistan in the war on terrorism.

Both the leaders discussed opportunities for Afghan people and traders in Saudi Arabia. The crown prince of Saudi Arabia pledged that his country would facilitate Afghan labour and traders.
