KARACHI: Inspector General of Police, A.D. Khawaja has said that some elements were trying to disrupt the peaceful environment of Karachi and termed the attack on MQM leader is a part of conspiracy against the peace of Pakistan financial capitol of Pakistan.
This he said while talking to media persons on Sunday. He added that on suspects were identified by police. He claimed that police are trying to reach the criminals and soon the involved persons will be arrested in this regard.
Khawaja Izhar-ul-Hasan, leader of Opposition in Sindh Assembly was targeted by some criminals but he managed to escape in the attempt when he was returning from Eid prayers, in which of the attacker were killed in cross firing.
