Australia win Ashes after defeating England in third Test

PERTH: Australia won the Ashes after crushing England in the third test and defeated the opposite team by an innings at Perth ground on Monday.

Australian took the 3-0 lead in the five match series after defeating the England team by an innings and 41 runs in the third test following winning the first two tests In Brisbane and Adelaide.

The third day of the test was delayed because of rain and it created yet another pitch controversy at the WACA ground. The ground staff worked hard to dry the pitch as shower came on and off at regular intervals.

Hazlewood took five wickets for 48 runs in the second innings of the third ashes test.

England scored 403 runs in the first innings with the help of brilliant double century of David Malan and in reply Australia responded strongly and put a massive 662/9 in their first innings and bowled out the England for 218 on the third day of the test and secures the series win in the Ashes 2017. Australian skipper Steven Smith was declared player of the match for his brilliant double century.
