LAHORE: TV and film actress Ayesha Khan has officially announced engagement with an old friend and the reason behind her leaving the showbiz industry.
Ayesha Khan shared a photo with her fiancé and said that she had left media industry as she now prefers to stay away from the limelight.
She has requested privacy and expected everybody to respect the decision of keeping their wedding a small family affair.
Ayesha Khan had made her debut in 2000, with Tum Yahi Kehna on PTV. Her acclaimed shows on the state-run channel include Mehndi. She has recently won Best Actress Award for Noor-e-Zindagi.
She has appeared in Pakistani movie Waar which released in 2013 and broke all previous box office records. Her other films include Abhi Toh Main Jawan Hoon and Jawani Phir Nahi Ani.
