Ayesha Omar aka Khoobsurat celebrates her 40th birthday

KARACHI: The Lollywood celeb, Ayesha Omar, has marked her 40th birthday with close friends and colleagues.

She took to social media to share a few shots of the birthday bash. In a video, the diva is cutting three birthday cakes at a time.

The fans and followers of the Khoobsurat of Bulbalay – the country’s best sitcom – showered lots of love and good wishes.

The NCA graduate has proved her mettle in the fields of singing, painting, acting and modelling. The highest-paid artist too gained fame as a style icon.

In 2012, she released her first single Chalte Chalte and Khamoshi and clinched Lux Style Award for Best Album. She appeared in Zindagi Gulzar Hai the same year.

In 2013, she released her third album ‘Gimme Gimme. and gave her voice for an old classical song named ‘Laage Re Nain’ and another fusion song “Miyan Ki Malhar” for Coke Studio Pakistan. She played the role of Arzoo in Tanhai the same year.

The gorgeous gal, who described her childhood as ‘tough’ and ‘independent’, hosted a show, Meray Bachpan Kay Din, at the age of eight.

She also hosted morning shows, Yeh Waqt Hai Mera, Rhythm and Hot Chocolate.

In 2015, she made her film debut in the successful romantic-comedy ‘Karachi Se Lahore’.

In 2017, she appeared in Yalghaar and the following year, she participated in New York Fashion Week as Pakistan’s Spokesperson for beauty brand Maybelline.

She expressed her anger at the perverts who just went for unnecessarily harsh criticism and blocked a page for passing rude comments, sending a strong message to such persons.
