KARACHI: Pakistan’s opening batsman, Azhar Ali has said that he is hopeful that Pakistan will perform well in the five-match ODI series against New Zealand next month.
Azali Ali was talking to media persons at Karachi after he announced in Pakistan’s 15-member team on Saturday as he passed the fitness test.
Ali said that he is fully fit and looking forward for the upcoming ODI series which will started from January 6.
New Zealand is always a strong team on their home ground and it will be a challenging series for the young Pakistani team, he added.
Replying to a question, the former captain said he always tries to play positive cricket and according to the team’s requirement.
