KABUL (Agencies): The country’s Acting Industry and Commerce Minister, Nooruddin Azizi, on the sidelines of the 14th International Economic Forum in Kazan “Islamic World” discussed developing trade ties with the adviser of the President of Russia, Ruslan Abubakar Seyed Hussain Veitch.
The two sides discussed developing transit trade and provision of facilities in this sector, the Afghan Ministry of Industry and Commerce said in a statement.
In the meeting, Ruslan Abubakar Seyyed Hussain Veitch, reminded of the establishment of Islamic banking and stressed on increasing the facilities and providing more educational opportunities for Afghan students.
“Russia will support people of Afghanistan by providing them with work opportunities” Seyyed Hussain Veitch said.
The two side also discussed export of goods through warm waters to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, according to the statement.
Meanwhile, Minister Nooruddin Azizi, meeting with President of Tatarstan, Rustam Menikhanov, asked him to visit Afghanistan, further said the statement.
