F.P. Report

PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s all-format skipper Babar Azam has officially joined Peshawar Zalmi for Pakistan Super League’s eighth season, the franchise announced Friday.
With 2,413 runs under his belt in 68 matches, the prolific right-hander is the all-time highest scorer of PSL.

According to the sources, Babar has been traded by the Kings to Peshawar Zalmi in exchange for veteran all-rounder Shoaib Malik. Babar represented Islamabad United in the inaugural edition of the PSL.

Before PSL 2017 players’ draft, Babar was moved to Kings. Since then, he represented the Kings in six PSL editions and also captained the franchise this year.
PSL is expected to announce retained players of all six franchises at 8:30pm today (November 11).
