Badakhshan customs initiates registration of undocumented vehicles

BADAKHSHAN (TOLOnews): Officials at the Badakhshan province customs office reported the initiation of the registration process for undocumented vehicles in this province.

The aim of registering these vehicles is said to be to prevent security incidents and increase government revenue.

Shafaqatullah Mohaqiq, the director of Badakhshan customs, said: “The registration process in Badakhshan province for undocumented vehicles has been decided to prevent misuse, theft, ensure security, and increase the country’s revenue.”

Residents of Badakhshan also considered the implementation of this program effective in preventing criminal and security incidents.

“It helps 100% because having documents makes it clear in any kind of incident,” said Ahmad Fawad, a resident of Badakhshan.

“It is a very good process for ensuring security and greatly helps prevent armed robbery,” said Shafiullah, a resident of Badakhshan.

According to officials, this process will continue until the end of the current solar year, and compared to previous years, a discount of 50 to 70 percent has also been considered for undocumented vehicles by the leadership of the caretaker government.
