‘Badhaai Ho’ earns more than Rs 66 crores in first week
MUMBAI: Badhaai Ho is a freshly brewed story about a family in which middle-aged parents are expecting a child. With humour and intelligent dialogue, the film’s script acts as a hero to rightfully send out the message that the makers are trying to portray.
The film stars Ayushmann Khurrana, Sanya Malhotra, Gajraj Rao, Neena Gupta and a few other actors who have impressed with their performances. The film released last Thursday and on its opening day it raked in Rs 7.35 crores, on Friday it earned Rs 11. 85 crores, Saturday it garnered Rs 12.80 crores which went even higher on Sunday with Rs 13.70 crores.
The film then earned Rs 5.65 crores on Monday, Rs 5.50 crores on Tuesday and Rs 5 crores on Wednesday making the grand total a whopping Rs 61.85 crores. The film is expected to earn almost Rs 5 crores today as well that will round up its week one at the box office on a high with over Rs 66 crores being earned.
