Bagh Aman Mela continue in Tirah Valley

BARA: After restoration of peace in tribal belt a chain of developmental projects were initiated across the area for socio-economic uplift of tribesmen while now games and festivals have been arranging for youths by providing healthy environment.

Furthermore, many events are being organized in Tirah which is proof of the complete restoration of peace. In this regard, Bagh Aman Mela, Tirah is started in Tirah which is jointly organized by the District Administration and Security Forces. At the opening ceremony, participants sang the national anthem while children waved the national flag.

While marching in the festival, the band received special applaud from the participants through beautiful melodies. At the opening ceremony, children presented various tableaus. Bike rides of Pakistan Army Military Police also showed their skills on this occasion. Khattak dance and other regional dances were also performed at the event.

The highlight of the opening ceremony was paragliding and power gliding. To which the participants appreciated alot. On the occasion, the participants thanked the administration for organizing the festival and said that holding such events in the area is a clear example of peace.

The inaugural ceremony of the Bagh Aman Mela, jointly organized by the district administration and Frontier Corps North, was attended by senior civil and military officials, tribal elders, area residents, children and other guests from various walks of life. The Bagh Aman Mela will continue till May 25 and will feature competitions in different sports including cricket, volleyball, equestrian, tug-of-war and other local games.
