Ban on Lahore schools for extra-curricular activities lifted

F.P. Report

LAHORE: Better late than never, Education Authority Lahore has allowed 8,000 private schools of Lahore to undertake extra-curricular activities without seeking permission from Authority, on Tuesday.

Two weeks ago, Education Authority had asked private schools that without permission of the Authority they will not undertake any extra-curricular activity.

The district education authority has revoked its notification under which schools were barred from holding extra-curricular activities without prior permission. Now private educational institutions have no need to seek prior permission of Authority.
