Baradar meets Afghans prisoners freed by UAE

KABUL (Agencies): Deputy Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, on Saturday met with the Afghan prisoners released by the United Arab Emirates.
In a meeting, Baradar expressed his happiness over their released and assured them that he will provide them with work opportunities in the country, a statement said by his office.
The Afghans, who were imprisoned in the United Arab Emirates for a long time, thanked Deputy PM Baradar for mediating their release after continuous efforts, and today they are returning to their families.
According to him, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the president of the United Arab Emirates, has considered this move as goodwill toward Afghans and thanked him for it.
Lately, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, in its effort paved the ground for the release of 12 Afghan prisoners from the prison of the United Arab Emirates.
According to the IEA officials shortly, dozens of other prisoners will be freed from prison in this country and will return to their homes.
