Baradar on his trip carried 53m Afs to assist quake victims

KABUL (Agencies): Deputy Prime Minister, Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, traveled to Khost and Paktika early on Monday carrying 53 million Afghanis to assist southeast earthquake victims.
A statement received by BNA said Baradar offered his condolences to the families of the bereaved and vowed to assist in revitalizing the lives they lost in the tragedy, adding that in addition to the above aid, the Islamic Emirate has already delivered many cargoes of humanitarian for the victims of the quake.
According to the statement, in addition to this donation, some more cash aid will be delivered to be assisted the victims of the tragedy, through the Disaster Management Commission.
Meanwhile, elders of tribes, clerics, and influential figures of the southeast provinces praised the Islamic Emirate’s efforts and declared their support.
Deputy Prime Minister Baradar said Islamic Emirate is a common house for all Afghans living in the country and will make every effort toward providing a better livelihood for its people.
Baradar on his trip to southeast provinces praised all the national and international communities providing assistance to the victims of the earthquake.
