BB murder case, SC issues notices to stakeholders

ISLAMABAD (Online): Supreme Court (SC) has issued notices to two police officers Saud Aziz and Khurram Shahzad along with other stake holders in Benazir Bhutto murder case.

A widow of PPP worker who had been killed at Liaquat Bagh, where BB was murdered, has filed a petition for the rejections of the bail in the murder case of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.

A three member bench headed by Justice Ejaz Afzal has heard the case. Senior lawyer Latif Khosa represented the petitioner.

During the proceeding he contended that the High Court decision regarding the bails of former City Police Officer Rawalpindi Saud Aziz and ex SP Rawal Town Khurram Shahzad was challenged. He said following the bails one accused has been posted as SSP Special Branch. Upon this justice Ejaz Afzal said that notices are being served to the accused.

Supreme Court has issued notices to former CPO Rawalpindi Saud Aziz and SSP Special Branch Khurram Shahzad and other stake holders.
