BCCI rules out possibility of Pakistan-India Test series

Monitoring Desk

DUBAI: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has ruled out the possibility of a Pakistan-India Test series in Australia.

As per media reports, a BCCI official has said that there is no question of playing any series between Pakistan and India other than ICC and ACC events.

The official said that if the Modi government does not give permission, then there is no possibility of any series between the two countries. There are no talks in process for the bilateral series.

During the ACC meeting in Dubai, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ramiz Raja proposed a triangular series, but the Indian government did not agree.

Earlier, it was reported that the Australian all-rounder Simon O Donnell said that talks are going on for a Test match between the two traditional rivals at the Melbourne Stadium, where there is a possibility of a triangular series of Pakistan, India and Australia, while the ODI series will also be possible by including the three countries.
