Bhumi Pednekar talks about her upcoming project ‘Saand Ki Aankh’

MUMBAI: Bhumi Pednekar has surprised everyone with the first look of her next film Saand ki Aankh, where she is seen playing the role of 87-year-old sharpshooter along with Taapsee Pannu.

Directed by Tushar Hiranandani, the film is based on the lives of world’s oldest sharpshooters from India, Chandro Tomar and Prakashi Tomar. Taapsee is playing 82-year-old Prakashi Tomar, who happened to be Chandro’s sister-in-law.

This morning Bhumi Pednekar shared the first poster from the film on Instagram with an interesting caption. She wrote, “Make way for the Dadis. Bringing to you one of my most challenging roles in one of the most inspiring stories.”

She revealed the second poster giving a few more insights about the film. She captioned it saying, “They are brave, they are fun, they are full of love. They are the shooter Dadis of India. Proud to be a part of their journey.”
