Bilawal alleges Nawaz of attacks on 18th amendment

KARACHI: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, has said that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had been attacking eighteenth constitutional amendment for the last five years.

“His party instead of giving due shares to provinces under the NFC Award has spent money on self-promotion through advertisements,” Chairman Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said while addressing the inauguration ceremony of the Thatta Carriageway Project in Thatta.

“I thought that the prime minister was a responsible person”.

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on this occasion urged upon Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi to withdraw his remarks about Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani.

Prime Minister Abbasi had urged the members of the opposition to jointly nominate a new Senate chairman, alleging that Sanjrani held no respect as votes were bought in his favor.

“I will only advise the prime minister to withdraw his remarks against the Senate chairman.”

Discussing his party’s contribution to the development of Sindh, the PPP chairman said his party-led provincial government doesn’t believe in showing off its hard work.

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari added that his party was the only one, among its peers, that could the problems of the nation.

Lashing out at political rival Shehbaz Sharif, the incumbent chief minister of Punjab, Chairman Pakistan People’s Party, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that in the past ten years of his governance of Punjab, the minister had only managed to inaugurate a single, incomplete hospital.

Earlier, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari inaugurated Karachi-Thatta Dual Carriageway Road near Dhabeji. Chief Minister, Sindh Murad Ali Shah, Minister for Works & Services Imdad Pitafi and others were also present on the occasion.

Earlier,  A delegation led by H.E. Kamal Kharrazi Head of the Strategic Council of Foreign Relations and former minister of foreign affairs and adviser to Hazrat Ayatollah Khamnaie the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran called on the former President of Pakistan and PPPP President Asif Ali Zardari at Bilawal House on Thursday.

The delegation also included Rasul Islami, Mehdi Mustaafavi, Muhammad Baqir Khurram Shad, Abdul Raza Faraji Raad, Saifullah Tahiri, Ahmad Mohammadi Consul General and Abdol Reza Soltani Third Consul. The delegation discussed the matters of mutual interests with the former President Asif Ali Zardari and cordial relations between the two brotherly nations.
