Bilawal Bhutto demands FM Qureshi’s resignation over Senate Speech

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has expressed outrage over Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi s speech in the Senate and demanded him to either take back his words or resign.

Bilawal Bhutto said that such statements would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He said that his government was cooperating with Federation but it was busy making such statements, demanding that the Foreign Minister take back his words or resign immediately.

He demanded that Shah Mahmood Qureshi retract his words regarding Sindh card. He said that such statements will harm the unity of the federation. He also criticized his statement of showcasing political strength in Sindh saying that this is not the time for political power play.

He said that the sugar crisis inquiry commission is a sham which he is closely observing. He accused the federal government of having no interest in justice and only dragging their opponents through the mud. He also vowed to expose the sugar inquiry commission at an opportune time.
