KARACHI: Expressing concerns at what he called trampling of human rights by PMLN government, chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that violations of human rights could not be tolerated in any civilized country.
In his statement issued to mark International Human Rights Day today (Sunday) Bilawal said that PPP is also a national movement for the protection of human rights besides being a political party. Saying that in countries with democratic traditions human rights rule supreme, Bilawal added that his party established constitutional and legal bodies to ensure protection of human rights.
Expressing concerns at violations of human rights in the country, particularly by ruling PMLN, Bilawal said that violent extremism poses immense threats to human rights. Like always PPP will continue fighting against violations of human rights, he said.
