F.P. Report
PESHAWAR: The United Business Group (UBG) senior leader and former senator, Ilyas Ahmad Bilour on Sunday termed the current flour crisis generally in country and particularly in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as worst incompetence of present PTI led government and alleged that the selected people have miserably failed in resolution of all matters.
Mr Bilour, the country’s leading businessman in a statement issued here said the incumbent selected and incompetent government has made the surplus wheat producing Pakistan into wheat importing country. He alleged the selected Prime Minister Imran Niazi has created flour crisis for bestowing their near and dear.
UBG senior leader said the surplus wheat stock was available in government godowns, but supply has been halted in open market. He said the government was required to import wheat in November and December but it is extreme of incompetence that the present government didn’t pay attention toward impending flour crisis in the country.
The leading industrialist said the flour crisis was created due to ban on transportation of wheat in Khyber Paktunkhwa from Punjab. He alleged the PM Imran Niazi has deliberately created artificial flour crisis in KPK, which is the worst example of incompetence of PTI led government.
The UBG leader criticised the ruling PTI for establishing soup kitchens (langarkhana) instead of fulfilling its commitment of promoting industrialisation in the country. He said after destroying existing businesses, shops and labourers, now the present PTI led government has deprived poor people from flour.
Mr Bilour said the electricity tariff has increased twice in a month on name of fuel adjustment surcharge and 98 per paisa hike recently made in electricity prices. He castigated the incumbent government has ruined the country’s economy due to their flop policies and no one is ready to stop them from further destroying the country. He expressed the hope that PM Imran Niazi and his companion by God-willing (Inshallallah) will soon drown in tsunami.
