Blast in Dasht-e-Barchi, Kabul sparks outcry

KABUL (TOLOnews): The blast in the Dasht-e- Barchi area of Kabul city sparked strong reactions among Afghan politicians.

The spokesman for the Kabul department of security, Khalid Zadran, told TOLOnews on Satuday that an explosion occurred in Kabul city’s PD6.

According to Zadran, the explosion targeted a bus, and based on initial information, 2 people were killed and 14 others were injured.

Former President Hamid Karzai condemned the blast and called it a “terrorist” attack which is “against Islamic and human values.”

Former chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation, Abdullah Abdullah, condemned the attack and said it is against Islamic and human values.
