Blinken, Bulgarian President emphasize importance of transatlantic alliance

WASHINGTON: Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev, on Friday. 

Secretary Blinken and President Radev emphasized the importance of the transatlantic Alliance, the U.S.-Bulgaria strategic partnership, and cooperation under Bulgaria’s leadership of the Three Seas Initiative. 

The Secretary and the President also discussed shared interests regarding rule of law, the Western Balkans, and energy diversification.
