Bollywood megastars in stadium to hail India in World Cup final

AHMEDABAD (Web Desk) : As the nail-biting match World Cup Final between India and Australia is underway, Bollywood megastars arrived at the stadium to cheer the team in blue in Motera, Ahmedabad.

In one viral clip, Tiger 3 stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were seen in blue jerseys, boosting the captain Rohit Sharma’s top eleven to lift the cup again on home soil.

“I only pray that India defeats by a large margin,” Bhaijaan said. Meanwhile, the IIFA award was asked about whether India could clinch the trophy for the third time.

Optimistically, Katrina replied, “Definitely, I think Tiger 3 has been lucky for us, and this is going to be, fingers crossed, India’s third World Cup. And I think we are just waiting for them to lift that trophy finally.”

Besides the duo, Shah Rukh Khan was also spotted at the stadium with his wife, Gauri Khan, and kids.

Further, the Bollywood power couple Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh were in the stands too — hailing team India to lift the cup for the third time.
