Bombing injures 2 ANA troops

KANDAHAR: A roadside bomb attack injured at least two Afghan National Army (ANA) troops in Kandahar City, capital of Kandahar province, police said Saturday.

The incident occurred in the Shorandam area, limits of 10th police district, when a roadside bomb ripped through an ANA vehicle at approximately 7:00 a.m. (local time) today, said Zia Durrani, spokesman of Kandahar police. He said two ANA troops were injured in the blast and shifted to ANA medical facility at Kandahar Airbase for treatment.
