Bushra Bibi approaches IHC against NAB’s investigation

F.P. Report

ISLAMABAD: Former first lady and wife of ex-premier and PTI Chief Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi has also moved to the Islamabad High Court against the Toshakhana investigation by the National Accountability Bureau.

After Imran Khan, his spouse Bushra Bibi also resorted to the Islamabad High Court and filed a petition against NAB’s call-up notices in the Toshakhana case through her lawyer Khawaja Haris.

She pleaded the court to declare NAB’s February 17 and March 16 call-up notices illegal. She also beseeched the court to stop the anti-corruption watchdog to take any punitive action against the petitioner on the basis of its call-up notices.

She urged the court to bar the NAB from changing the status of inquiry into investigation until the case is decided.

The NAB chairman and additional director were made respondents in the case.

Before Bushra Bibi, Imran Khan, too, has moved to the Islamabad High Court against Toshakhana investigation.
