Cabinet gives green signal to Pak-Russia power project in Jamshoro

ISLAMABAD: Federal cabinet has given the approval to start the construction of 600MW Natural Gas Combined Cycle (NGCC) power plant in Jamshoro.

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi, chaired the federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday and it approved the Pak-Russia power project in Jamshoro.

The federal cabinet given the authorization the Power Division to finalize the agreement draft and present it before the cabinet. The statement was issued after the meeting and the cabinet directed to finalize the terms and condition of the load in the consent with the Economic Division (EAD) and Finance department.
