Camp established for deporting illegal foreigners

PESHAWAR: Evacuation of foreigners residing illegally in Pakistan is going on. A large number of Afghans are returning to Afghanistan via Torkham after the crackdown on illegal immigrants following the deadline given by the government of Pakistan.

In this regard, a temporary camp has been set up in Landi Kotal, where the illegal residents are being sent back to their countries after completing the information and other legal requirements. The camp provides all the necessary facilities for the foreigners to return to their countries in a dignified manner. After the arrival of the foreigners in the camp, the NADRA officials collect the data of the head of the family through biometrics.

After which the customs officials conduct a thorough search of them, for which women customs officials have also been appointed.

After a thorough search by the Customs, these foreigners are referred to the FIA officials, where their complete paper work is completed. After all the necessary legal procedures, these foreigners are kept in the waiting room.

After which they are taken to Torkham border in special vehicles provided by the government. On arrival at the Torkham border, these foreigners are again subjected to necessary legal action.

Under which, after a comprehensive search and baggage search, the immigration authorities complete the necessary paperwork and record all the details. After which they are sent back to Afghanistan through the border. Illegally resident Afghans are also moving their household goods to Afghanistan in trucks and containers.

All these goods are also checked by a special scanner esteblished at the Torkham boder termina. After a thorough search of the goods, the vehicle is taken to the export road, where a permit is obtained and the vehicle is sent to Afghanistan.

Government of Pakistan, Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps North and other organizations are active for the honorable return of foreigners and will continue to pursue the return of all illegally resident.
